FLOOR LAMP – BESPOKE FABRICATION
This bespoke lighting project was designed for a private client with the goal of integrating Bocci glass globes into a custom, dynamic floor base. The objective was to create a modern, sculptural piece that balanced the organic nature of the glass with a precise, engineered foundation in patinated brass.
I led the design and fabrication R&D, utilizing digital prototyping to resolve the complex mechanical interfaces. The process required the custom CNCing of brass fittings and knuckles to ensure a seamless connection between the structural base and the light globes, followed by final electrical assembly and hand applied material finishing.
The resulting floor lamp serves as a study in high end custom fabrication and technical detailing. By merging advanced digital prototyping with precision manufacturing, the project delivered a one of a kind piece that reflects a deep commitment to material integrity and bespoke craftsmanship.

KNUCKLE FITTING AND GLASS INTEGRATION WITH DYNAMIC FORM —
A knuckle and threading system needed to be designed for a custom designed floor lamp. The overall form of the lamp needed to visually look in a dynamic state of tension.
